On Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha reviewed the law and order situation in the state along with the state Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police and Sub-Divisional Police Officers.
Director General of State Police Amitabh Ranjan and other senior officers were present in this meeting held at the State Police Head Office on Wednesday afternoon.
After the review meeting, Chief Minister Saha told reporters that the opposition political parties are complaining that law and order have deteriorated in the state, which is not right.
Law and order situation in the state has improved a lot since 2018.
The Chief Minister told reporters that during the review, the Superintendents of Police, Additional Superintendents of Police and Sub-Divisional Police Officers of various districts of the state reported various problems.
He added that the government will consider these issues and if necessary will talk to the central government.
Necessary steps will be taken to strengthen Tripura Police.
