Agartala, Sept 2: Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee president Ashish Kumar Saha accused the BJP-led state government of fueling tensions between tribal and non-tribal communities and promoting what he termed as an “undemocratic attitude.”
Speaking at a press conference held at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan, Saha said the law-and-order situation in the state has been worsening under the present regime.
He also criticized the administration for permitting a protest by ruling party workers outside the Congress Bhavan last week.
Saha further condemned the remarks made during that demonstration against the central leadership of the Congress party, calling it a sign of political intolerance.
