Keeping them in mind, the government has come up with such a unique and modern project, said Urban Development Minister Santana Chakma after inaugurating flat allotment under Light House Project through lottery system at Muktadhara Auditorian Hall.
The event was organized by Urban Development department Secretary of the department Kiran Gitte, Director Tamal Majumdar and other officials were present at the event.
UD. Minister said, about I thousand houses are being built under this Light House Project. The beneficiaries will be distributed houses in two phases.
Those who annually earn up to 3 lakh rupees have been kept under a category. On the other hand, those who annually cam 3 to 6 lakh rupees have been kept under another category. The state government has taken special initiative to empower women, one of which is 33% reservation for women in jobs. She said, initiatives have been taken to build women self-dependent through different SHGs and Skill Development trainings
The main agenda of the present government is Sabka Sath, Sahka Vikas, and Drug free India and Tripura. She called on every parent to be vigilant and aware to fight against addiction and help make Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura Secretary of the department Kiran Gitte highlighted the important aspects of Light House Project implementation. He said, this whole project is of the central government.
