AGARTALA: Police from East Agartala Police Station have arrested the primary suspect involved in the robbery of a woman’s gold necklace in the Jogendranagar Agradoot Club area.
The accused had been on the run since the incident occurred. According to police sources, he sustained injuries during an internal dispute with accomplices over the division of stolen money and subsequently sought medical care at GB Hospital.
Upon receiving information about his presence at the facility, officers from East Agartala Police Station dispatched a team to GB Hospital, where they detained and formally arrested him.
