West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Supremo Mamata Banerjee will visit Tripura ahead of the assembly elections scheduled to be held on February 16.
She will come to the north-eastern state on February 6 and hold a rally on February 7.
Notably, Mamata Banerjee, along with Abhishek Banerjee, General Secretary Trinamool Congress, finished election campaigning in Meghalaya.
Meghalaya will go to the polls on February 27.
It is the first time that Mamata Banerjee will visit Tripura for election campaigning.
Her nephew Abhishek Banerjee has visited Tripura multiple times since 2021. Notably, Trinamool Congress will contest alone in the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura.
