J P Nadda, the national president of BJP is scheduled to visit Tripura on February 3, as a part of the poll campaign for the assembly elections on February 16.
Party sources highlighted that the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will receive Nadda at MBB Airport in Agartala along with other top leaders on February 03.
Then, Nadda will go to Amarpur Chandibari grounds and Kumarghat PWD grounds to address public meetings on the same day as a part of the BJP’s poll campaign in view of the assembly elections.
Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb, State BJP election in-charge Mahendra Singh along with other leaders of the ruling BJP party visited respective areas on Tuesday to observe and inspect the preparations for Nadda’s visit.
Besides, they held detailed discussions on several issues associated with the party’s national president visit.
Furthermore, sources also said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah would address a series of rallies in Tripura on February 6 and 12 in the view of assembly elections.
Several other top leaders of the party are also scheduled for campaigning to seek votes for the BJP candidates and ensure victory for the second term of BJP in Tripura.
