Mission Vidyajyoti is being implemented to strengthen the infrastructure of the education system of the state: ICA Minister

Birendranagar Higher Seconday School of Jirania has been brought under Mission Vidyajyoti. Inaugurating a programme held on this occasion, Information & Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Choudhury said, Mission Vidyajyoti is being implemented to strengthen the infrastructure of the education system of the state.

As a result, students will be able to gain quality education, through which students of the state will be able to achieve success m national level competitive exams.

He said, the education department will turn 125 schools to CBSE primarily. 500 crore rupees will be spent to improve the education infrastructure of the schools. Best schools from every sub-division will be brought under this Mission.

The scheme will specially help merit students from poor families to avail national level education ICA Minister expressed his gratitude to Education Minister for bringing Birendranagar Higher Seconday School and Sukanta Academy of Majlishpur constituency under the scheme.

ICA Minister said, this school holds a significance as students of this school are working respectfully in different parts of the society.
