The state government has announced Corona Night Curfew from 6 pm to 5 am in all Urbal Local Bodies (including Agartala Municipal Corporation) across the state with effect from Tuesday next amid COVID crisis in India.
From Tuesday, the new night curfew timing will be enforced between 6 pm and 5 am every day.
Speaking at a press conference, Education minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the state government has decided to change the timings keeping in mind the surge in the number of COVID-19 cases.
Minister Ratan Lal Nath also said that from May 4, all government offices will be closed by 4 pm. However, if there is an urgent need for the help of a government employee, they will have to come to the office if there is called from the office.
