Opposition Leader and CPIM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury delivered a scathing attack on the BJP, IPFT and Tipra Motha coalition government, while talking about the law and order situation in the state while standing at the house of dead Badal Tripura.

He said that the death of Badal Tripura is the best gift of Durga Puja and Lakshmi Puja by the present coalition government of the state.

Jitendra Chowdhury said that all police officers are not the same but there are transparent officers also. But some police officers have turned into political party cronies.

Chaudhury demanded a fair investigation and strict punishment for the five policemen arrested in connection with the case. “The people of this state will not tolerate such inhumanity” he added.
