Paddy procurement from farmers at Minimum Support Price has started in Santirbuzar sub- division yesterday 66,270 kilograms paddy was procured yesterday from 33 farmers at Betaga market shed of the sub-division.

The paddy was procured at 20 rupees 40 paisa per kilogram. The procurement will continue till July 20.

Target is to procure 1,500 MT paddy from the farmers at Betaga market shed of the sub-division. Bokafa Agriculture Sub-Division Superintendent Sujit Kumar Das and official of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department Malay Chowdhury were present during the paddy procurement yesterday

Paddy procurement at MSP in Amarpur sub-division Paddy procurement from farmers at Minimum Support Price has started in Amarpur sub- division yesterday with the initiative of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department in cooperation with Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare department.

The paddy procurement was conducted at Maruti Syndicate of Amarpur and was inaugurated by Vice-Chairman of Amarpur Panchayat Samiti Sankarananda Saha. 2.840 kilograms paddy was procured from 25 farmers of the sub-division on the first day. The paddy was procured at 20 rupees 40 paisa per kilogram:
