Peaceful Polling and High Voter Turnout Mark Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) Elections in Tripura
Voting in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections across the state was largely peaceful, with enthusiastic participation from voters since early morning.
Long queues were seen at polling stations in Mandwi, Pekuajarjala, Takarjala and Jampuijala of West Tripura district as people braved the summer heat to cast their votes.
By noon, nearly 50% turnout was recorded in several booths, officials said.
