Tensions flared in Udaipur on Monday morning when members of the Hindu Jagaran Manch and various Sanatani organizations staged a protest, blocking the Netaji Subhash Bridge.

The demonstrators called for the immediate arrest of Javed Hossain, who has been accused of making offensive comments about Mata Tripura Sundari, a highly venerated goddess with a temple among the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas.

The situation led to traffic disruption and heightened security in the area.
