Ration Dealer in Assam Accused of Major Corruption; FIR Lodged

Silchar, Nov 1: A serious allegation of corruption has been raised against a ration dealer named Jayant Pal, a resident under Dhowarband Police Station in Sribhumi, Assam. Several local residents have accused him of cheating customers in matters related to ration card creation, LPG connections, and distribution of ration items.

One of the complainants, Pampa Das, a resident of Barajalenga, alleged that Jayant Pal had demanded ₹25,000 from her for making ration cards, even though the government provides ration cards free of cost.
