Result of over 1300 selected candidates for two new TSR Battalions announced

A big boost up in the internal security of the state.

Over 1300 candidates got selected this time for vacancies in 2 new TSR Battalion.

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state, the Tripura government has announced results of candidates selected for various posts of two new battalions of Tripura State Rifles (TSR) on Monday.

Over 1300 vacancies for various post of Male and Female in TSR are to be filled up shortly with offers of appointments to the candidates.

According to experts, this is also one of the largest recruitment since the BJP-IPFT government came to power in 2018.

Tripura Police in a notification on Monday wrote, “It is to inform that the list of selected candidates for the post of Riflemen (GD) and Riflemen (Tradesmen) (Male & Female) (Inside & Outside State) towards raising of 02 new TSR Indian Reserve (IR) Battalions is uploaded in Tripura Police website- http://www.tripurapolice.gov.in.

Candidates are hereby advised to visit the Tripura Police website. Offer of appointment is being issued later on.”
