Review of the progress of all ongoing & sanctioned maintenance works of roads of PWD (R&B)

The Secretary of Public Works Department, Government of Tripura reviewed the progress of all ongoing & sanctioned maintenance works of PWD (R&B) on 23 August, 2023 at 3.30 P.M in the Conference Hall No-III of the Secretariat.

All the PMGSY handed over roads to PWD(R&B) has been reviewed in detail and the concerned Executive Engineers are instructed to maintain the said roads in traffic worthy condition in compliance with existing road maintenance policy.

It has been decided that all tenders for the works of PMGSY handed over roads to PWD (R&B) under Suvarna Jayanti Tripura Nirman Yojana shall be invited within 31 August, 2023 positively and all the roads leading to Puja Pandals shall be maintained properly prior to ensuing Durga Puja.

It was also emphasized in maintaining quality of works as well as timely completion of the works. This was informed by Deputy Secretary of PWD, Rajib Paul in a press release.
