Once again, doctors performed a risky complex angioplasty on the heart at the state’s main referral hospital.

The 72-year-old Udaipur resident had two stents implanted in her heart at a private hospital two years ago.

Both of his stents failed. The result was abnormal chest pain and low blood pressure. So he showed the doctors to the Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery and Interventional Department of GBP Hospital.

The specialist doctors decided to perform a stent replacement on her heart after performing the necessary tests.

On March 21, Dr. Anindya Sundar Trivedi, a cardiologist at GBP Hospital, performed risky and complicated angioplasty on her heart for two and a half hours and replaced three stents.

The patient was discharged from the hospital yesterday as his condition improved. The family members are happy that the stent replacement was successful and they thanked the doctors.
