All India Congress Committee (AICC) shared a press release statement on Monday.
The statement highlighted that Sharbani Ghosh Chakraborty is the new president of Tripura Women’s Congress.
The Congress High Command and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge have changed the presidents of Mahila Congress in 5 states including Tripura.
Apart from Tripura, the other states where women Congress presidents have been transferred are Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir and Bihar.
The respective presidents of Pradesh Mahila Congress are Lam Thantia Kumari for Andhra Pradesh, D. Sharat Jahan Fatima for Bihar, Shamima Raina for Jammu and Kashmir, and Rakhi Gautam for Rajasthan.
