Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, the brand ambassador of Tripura Tourism, is coming to the state today to introduce Tripura’s tourist centers full of natural beauty to the world.

He will stay in the state for two days. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this at a press conference organized at tourist residence Gitanjali today.

In the press conference, the tourism minister said that the discussions of the tourism corporation were going on with Sourav Ganguly for a long time.

The decision to make Sourav Ganguly the brand ambassador of Tourism Corporation was finalized at the initiative of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha. He said that Sourav Ganguly will come to Agartala today evening.

Then he will go to Ujjayanta Palace. After the ceremony, Mayor Deepak Majumder will welcome him on behalf of Agartala Municipal Corporation.

After this event, he will pay a courtesy call on Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha. On the morning of December 12, Sourav Ganguly will go to Chabimura. There he will shoot for the tourism corporation. From where he will shoot a video at Ujjayanta Palace in the afternoon. He will leave Agartala in the evening.
