AGARTALA: The state government is actively implementing various initiatives to further strengthen the school education infrastructure and academic standards across the state, stated Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha during his visit to BARDOWALI Higher Secondary School (Class XII) in the capital today.

Highlighting the vision for educational improvement, the Chief Minister emphasized that providing quality education must go hand-in-hand with maintaining a clean, healthy, and conducive environment across all government and government-aided schools. He noted that teachers play a crucial role in shaping both the learning outcomes and the overall environment of educational institutions.

During the visit, Dr. Saha directed concerned department officials to expedite steps toward establishing a model school on the campus.

Addressing local infrastructure needs, the Chief Minister shared that the school’s headmistress brought an ongoing issue to his attention regarding students having to stand in direct sunlight during daily morning assemblies. Dr. Saha assured school authorities that prompt measures would be taken to resolve the issue.

The Chief Minister was accompanied during the inspection by Samit Roy Chowdhury, Director of the Education Department, Dr. Vishal Kumar, West Tripura District Magistrate, along with other key officials and representatives.
