State-Level Mission Indradhanush 5.0 to be inaugurated today

Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 will be officially inaugurated on August 5 in Kailasahar of Unakoti district. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha will be inaugurating the State-Level programme at Unakoti Kalakshetra, Kailasahar.

This was informed by Mission Director of National Health Mission, Tripura Division, Subhashish Das in a press conference held yesterday at Palace Compound. The Mission Director informed that timely immunization is an important program to ensure health safety of infants, pregnant women and younger ones. Under this program, Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 is commencing from this month nationwide.

The Mission Director further informed that through this program, the government aims to ensure immunization of infants and pregnant women of all sections through bringing the entire immunization program under digitization. From now onwards, it will be possible to register for free immunization of infants and pregnant women at any health centre of desired location from the convenience of their homes by registering their phone number on You Win portal.

This year, Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 program will be implemented in the state in 3 phases- first phase from August 7-12, 2023, second phase from September 11-16, 2023 and third phase from October 9-14, 2023 The Mission Director also informed that all those infants of 0-5 years and pregnant women of all districts of the state who have not been brought under immunization program will be immunized under this program.

Their lists have already been prepared Besides, this program will be implemented to eradicate Measles-Rubella in the state.
