Different types of surgeries including cataract surgery are now regularly being done in Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital Cataract surgery is being done in the hospital every week.
A team of doctors (total 46) under the leadership of Head of the Optometry department and eye specialist Dr. Phani Sarkar performed DCR, DCT and Pterygium surgery including cataract surgery.
