61st Teacher’s Day celebrations in the state at various institutions

It was the 61st teacher’s day yesterday.
5 September is the birthday of India’s first Vice President and second President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Teacher’s Day is celebrated on his birthday all over the country. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a very accomplished educationist, politician and philosopher.

He loved his students very much.
The 61st Teacher’s Day was celebrated in the state with various events.

The main function of Teacher’s Day organized by the State Government was held at MBB College in Agartala.

Education Minister Ratanlal Nath was present in the event.

The state government honoured total 41 school and college teachers in the state-level teacher’s Day programme.

9 schools and 2 colleges of Tripura were awarded on the 61st Teachers’ Day for their performance in various fields.

61st Teacher’s Day was also celebrated in other districts of the state by government and private schools and other educational institutions.
