Three suspected Rohingyas arrested in Agartala railway station

Three suspected Rohingyas were arrested again in Agartala, from Agartala railway station on Sunday.

Tapas Das, OC of Agartala Railway Station, GRP Police Station, said that like other days, when the routine search of the railway station was carried out, some people were suspicious after seeing their movements, and they were called for questioning.

He added, “During interrogation, they admitted that they are Rohingya residents of Myanmar. About eight years ago today they entered India illegally and are working in Hyderabad.

The arrested said their names were Abdul Rashid, Md Yusuf, and Hamid Hossain respectively. All of them live in the Mondu police station area of Aikub District, Myanmar.”OC added that all of them will be sent to court.
