Tripura Industrial Development Corporation has taken special initiatives to encourage youth to set up industries.

The aim of this initiative is to build Youth Tripura, New Tripura and Self-reliant Tripura. In this programme, 100 interested young women aged between 18 and 45 years from 8 districts of the state will be enrolled in the district industrial centers.

Interested youths will be taken on field trips to Bodhjung Nagar and RK Nagar industrial cities for gaining experience. This visit will be arranged to give a clear idea about the recent industrial infrastructure development of the state and various related facilities.

Nabadal Banik, chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited, said this in a press conference in Friday.

He also said, “In this special initiative, the interested youth will be introduced to various projects linked to state and central government credit.

Subsequently, on a priority basis, all these youths will be given assistance in setting up industries in various self-employment suitable projects.”

Nabadal Banik added, “In this initiative, the enthusiastic youth will be informed about the process of getting mining and will be directly connected with the bankers. Moreover, they will be informed and aware about the opportunities in the import export business and logistics sector.”
