The Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance (TIPRA) of Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman completed their 5,443-km motorcycle rally against the Citizenship Amendment Act covering all districts of Tripura.
Addressing media TIPRA spokesperson said that a total of 12,033 bikers with over 4,600 motorcycles took part in the rally against the CAA in last 19 days.
He claimed that supporters of all political parties in the state, including the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), Opposition CPI(M), the Congress and other regional parties like INPT, NCT etc. extended their suport against CAA.
The motorcycle rally was flagged off by Maharaja Pradyot Deb Barman on February 8.
The motorcycle rally covered all assembly constituencies of the state meeting people, especially the indigenous tribals areas, and discussed on CAA.
