The government has given special priority to the overall development of the people in the state.

For this, various developmental works have been undertaken and implemented for the people of all sections.

The Tribal Welfare Minister Rampada Jamatia said this in a review meeting of various developmental works in Korbong Para of Champabari ADC Village under Belbari Block of Jirania Sub-division on Tuesday.

The state government is eyeing that these groups can develop themselves in the context of overall development.

The minister added that this review meeting has been organised with the aim of solving various problems of the area including the overall development of the people of the tribal community.

The meeting reviewed the development works and activities of the department, which include social welfare and social education, education, health, drinking water and sanitation, animal resource development, forest, agriculture and farmer welfare departments.

In the meeting, the Minister Jamatia sought the cooperation of people from all sections in the overall development of the area.

He reviewed the progress of various departments and directed the officials to implement the project works quickly.
