Tripura: BJP, TMP, and IPFT to Contest Upcoming Village Council Elections in Seat-Sharing Alliance
Agartala, September 5: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), along with the Tipra Motha Party (TMP) and the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), will contest the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) Village Council elections under a seat-sharing arrangement.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, confirming that the ruling partners will field joint candidates to ensure a unified electoral contest across the state’s council seats.
