The bond of unity and harmony between the people of the caste and ethnic sections of the state is being strengthened around Durga Puja.

The state government is also working towards the creation of  Ek Tripura Shrestha Tripura by fostering this bond of harmony among the nations.

Chief Minister Professor (Dr) Manik Saha said this while inaugurating Mayer Gaman-2024 program in front of Maharani Tulsivati Girls School today.

The chief minister also said at the Mayer Gaman procession organized by the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs Department that even during the King’s period, a well-decorated procession was taken out in front of the Maharani TulsiVati Girls’ School on the occasion of the Dashami.

Keeping this tradition in mind, it has been decided to organize Mayer Gaman ceremony in front of Maharani Tulsivati Girls’ School this year.
