Asish Kumar Saha, the president of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee, announced on Wednesday that Kanhaiya Kumar, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge for the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), will address a public rally in Tripura on March 11. The rally will focus on protesting against the “anti-people” governance of the BJP.

Along with Kumar, several senior Congress leaders from Delhi are expected to participate in the mass gathering.

This rally is being organized by the Congress in Tripura to counter the BJP’s mega event celebrating the second anniversary of the state’s BJP government, which is scheduled for March 9.
