Sabroom, July 29: Tripura Pradesh Congress President Ashish Saha inaugurated a new party office at Harina Bazar in Sabroom on Monday. The event witnessed the presence of several key district leaders, including Youth Congress President Nilkamal Saha and Women Congress President Sarvani Chakraborty.

During the inauguration, Congress leaders launched sharp allegations of corruption against local BJP leader Shankar Roy. The event later turned into a rally, where the Congress party strongly criticized the BJP-led government on various issues.

In a significant political development, 12 individuals from Harina, previously affiliated with the BJP, CPI(M), and Tipra Motha, joined the Congress.

The party leadership hailed this as a sign of growing public trust and claimed that the Congress is emerging as the real alternative force in the state.
