The allowance has increased from Rs 1 thousand to Rs 2 thousand in various social allowance schemes of the state government. It will be effective from September.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha gave this message at the formal launch of ‘Prati Ghare Sushasan’ (Good Governance) campaign organized in Rabindra Centenary Bhawan in Agartala on Saturday, September 17.

In the inaugural function, the Chief Minister along with other guests launched the Bangla and Kokborok campaign song, a book in Bengali, Kokborok, English language, and the dashboard for ‘Prati Ghare Sushasan’ in the state.

A documentary outlining the campaign program was screened on the occasion.
The Chief Minister virtually inaugurated the 24-hour health services of North Maharanipur Primary Health Centre.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said that September 17 is the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
To commemorate the Prime Minister’s birthday, ‘Prati Ghare Sushasan’ campaign has been launched on this day.

This campaign will continue till November 30.
He said, not only words, the present state government believes in action.
Under the direction and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government has taken up this campaign program to bring good governance to every home in the state.

The state government is continuously striving for public welfare to fulfill the beliefs, hopes and dreams of the Prime Minister.

The CM further said that majority of works related to various flagship projects of the Central and State Governments have already been implemented successfully.

The campaign has been taken up in the state to complete the remaining works by next November.

The inauguration ceremony was telecasted live in various district headquarters, subdivisions and blocks of the state.
