Currently, there is a shortage of petrol and diesel in Tripura for quite some time.
In this crisis, petrol will not be given more than rupees for two-wheelers, 500 rupees for small cars with 4 seats.

Moreover, such rules and regulations have been laid down for other vehicles as well.

However, most of the petrol pumps in the capital Agartala do not have petrol diesel.
The pumps that have fuel oil see long queues of customers especially bike scooter riders.
It is known that this crisis will not last long. Some petrol pumps are supplying fuel as per government rules.

Many fuel and cargo vehicles were stuck in landslides in Meghalaya on the national highway after floods in Assam’s Dima Hasao district brought down lines on hills and rains.
Petrol pump authority said that within two or three days, the situation will be normal.
