Agartala, May 11: In a significant success, the West Police Station recovered 35 lost mobile phones from different parts of the city and returned them to their rightful owners on Sunday.
The recovered mobile phones were formally handed over to the owners by Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rana Chatterjee along with other police personnel at the West Police Station.
Speaking on the occasion, OC Rana Chatterjee said that the mobile phones had gone missing from various locations across the city at different times. Following written complaints lodged by the affected individuals, the police launched investigations and successfully traced the devices with the help of technology.
The owners expressed gratitude to the police for their prompt action and efforts in recovering the lost mobile phones.
