Agartala, March 13: A young man identified as Sujit Das succumbed to his injuries on Thursday following a tragic road accident at Gokulnagar. The incident occurred when a car collided with the motorcycle he was riding, leaving him critically injured.

He was immediately rushed to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. Considering the severity of his condition, doctors referred him to GBP Hospital in Agartala for advanced treatment. However, despite the best efforts of the medical team, Sujit Das breathed his last during treatment.

The untimely death of the young man has cast a pall of gloom over the entire locality. Sujit was the sole breadwinner of his family, and his sudden demise has left his elderly parents devastated. Family members and relatives are inconsolable following the tragic loss.

The incident once again highlights the growing concern over road accidents, which continue to claim the lives of many young people.
