Chief Minister’s Rubber Mission was launched in the state on August 14, 2021 with an aim of covering 30,000 Ha land in the next 5 years. 10,772 Ha has been covered under the scheme through which total 12 thousand 513 ST beneficiaries have benefitted so far.
Apart from that, Project Implementation Plan (PIP) of Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP) (to be funded by World Bank) has been prepared. The total project cost is 1400 crore rupees.
The main objective of the project is development of livelihood opportunities, quality education and roads for development of supply chain in the tribal dominated blocks of the state.
