Two accused arrested in East Police Station in charges of beating People and robbing them 2 lakh rupees.
It is learnt that a young man named Dhananjay Tripura came to Rajesh Tripura’s rented house in Lal Bahadur Chaumuhani area of Agartala with 2 lakh rupees to buy a car . At that time , Rajesh Tipura was not at home .
It is alleged that three or four people came and beat him up and robbed from him 2 lakh rupees. Dhananjay Tripura filed a case in East Police Station in this incident and later the East Police Station police investigated and arrested two people from Lal Bahadur area on Thursday night.
On Friday, Sadar SDPO told the media that two arrested will be produced in court on Friday with a remand application . He also said that a total of 1 lakh 35 thousand rupees have been recovered from them .
