In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a rally and gathering was organized in support of Rajendra Reang, the nominated candidate of CPIM party of INDIA alliance, at Bankul old market Bazar under 39 Manu-Bankul Assembly Constituency this afternoon.
In this gathering, CPIM party’s state committee secretary and MLA of 40 Sabroom assembly constituency Jitendra Chaudhary, MLA of six Agartala assembly constituency and popular Congress leader and MLA Sudip Roy Barman and other leaders were present.

At the meeting, 28 voters of 5 families left the BJP and TIPRA Motha party and joined the CPIM party.Jitendra Chaudhury handed over the CPIM party page to them.
