Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Dasaratha Deb Sports Complex in Badharghat, Agartala on Friday evening.
Director of Youth Affairs and Sports Department SB Nath welcomed the governor there.
The Governor visited the complex’s track and field ground, hockey ground, tennis court, and tennis.
During his visit, the Governor interacted with teachers, coaches, sports school officials and students.
While talking to reporters, Governor Deputy Secretary Ratan Bhowmik and officials of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports were present at the sports complex to ensure proper utilization of all the facilities available at the centre during the games.
