Several people of Udaipur joined the ruling party BJP on Sunday after leaving various political parties.
Around 301 supporters from 104 families joined BJP. The joining meeting was organised with the initiatives of BJP booth committees Ward 17 and 18 of Udaipur Municipal Corporation.
Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Gomti District BJP President Abhishek DebRoy, Udaipur Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Shital Chandra Majumder and many others were present in the event.
Minister Pranajit Singha Roy welcomed the newly joined supporters and thanked them for keeping faith in the government.
