The 43rd Agartala Book Fair, a festival of contemplation, will begin at the Hapania International Fair premises from January 2.

Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha will inaugurate the 43rd Agartala Book Fair at 5 pm today. The Hapania International Fair premises have been decorated for the occasion of the book fair.

The 13-day Agartala Book Fair will conclude on January 14. Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Tripura Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumdar and West Tripura Zilla Parishad Chairman Balai Goswami will be present as the guests of honor at the inaugural ceremony of the Agartala Book Fair.

Eminent Kolkata writer Joydeep Chatterjee will be present as a special guest at the inaugural ceremony.
