Agriculture Minister attends Annual General Meeting of Mohanpur Primary Marketing Cooperative Society Limited

“Cooperatives play a major role in regulating markets. Cooperatives are the key to properly operating markets. The present government of the state has therefore given importance to strengthening the cooperatives.”

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratanlal Nath said this on Monday at the annual general meeting of Mohanpur Primary Marketing Cooperative Society Limited for the year 2022-23.

He said, “New employment is also created through cooperatives. Therefore, the more people can be associated with the cooperative, the more the society will benefit.”

Agriculture Minister urged everyone to come forward to build One Tripura, Best Tripura.
Inaugurating the meeting organized at the office premises of Mohanpur Primary Marketing Cooperative Society Limited, Cooperatives Minister Shukla Charan Noatia said, “The present government has taken various initiatives for public welfare.

Extensive initiatives have been taken to strengthen the economy of the state through cooperatives.”

He added, “Cooperatives have played an important role in the steps taken by the present government of the state to make the people of the state self-reliant in various fields. This issue was neglected during the previous government.”
