All speculations regarding the appointment of the new state president of BJP in Tripura have ended on Thursday.

The top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to appoint Rajib Bhattacharjee as the state president of BJP.

BJP has released a press release and informed that JP Nadda, the National President of BJP has decided to appoint Rajib Bhattacharjee as the new BJP president of Tripura.

However, after a series of meetings, JP Nadda has given his consent to make Rajib Bhattacharjee, the current vice president of Tripura BJP as the new president.

The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, who is also the current state president of BJP would soon be relieved from his duties. Thus, CM Saha could focus on his administrative duties.
