Jampuijala: Tension gripped ADC Village under Jampuijala’s Nabasarda area after unidentified miscreants allegedly hurled a bomb at the residence of a Tipramotha worker on Saturday night.

According to reports, the incident took place between 9 pm and 10 pm at the house of Mangal Debbarma. The bomb reportedly struck a tree adjacent to the house, averting a major tragedy. Mangal Debbarma narrowly escaped unhurt in the incident.

On receiving information, local MLA Biswajit Kalai rushed to the spot and met the family members of the victim. He inquired about the details of the incident and strongly condemned the attack. The MLA demanded the immediate arrest of those involved and urged the administration to enhance security measures in the area.

The incident has created panic and unrest among local residents. People of the area have called for a thorough investigation and exemplary punishment for the culprits.
Police have initiated an investigation into the matter, and further details are awaited.
