Hon’ble CM continues surprise visitsChief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb, who has been regularly visiting various parts of the state to know ground realty through direct interaction with people at the grassroots and without anyone in between, in continuation of his surprise visits on Monday visited various villages of Gabardi area under Golaghati assembly constituency.During his visit the Hon’ble Chief Minister interacted with the commoners including school students. He also visited some of the local residences and heard people’s grievances and demands and which would help him to not only better understand the people but also in formulating various development schemes and projects to expedite developmental activities of the state and to acheive the target of model state in three years time.

“An amount of Rs. 6000 crore will be spent for constructing roads to link various remote hamlets with main roads. Three to four projects for road construction have already been sent to the Ministry of DoNER and Rs. 200 crore has already been sanctioned,” Shri Deb said.He said that the state government has already started several projects to set up logistic hub, health hub, and to develop an education and infrastructure hub.
Apart from this, Asian Development Bank had sanctioned Rs. 1650 crore for the development of various places including Agartala and the government already received Rs. 17 crore to prepare the DPR, he added.As part of his visit, the Hon’ble Chief Minister accompanied by the local MLA Birendra Debbarma today inspected a party office which was vandalized by the miscreants at Golaghati market a few days ago. He also had an interactive session with the local party activists.Sri Deb also interacted with a group of students and inquired about their school and studies apart from motivating them for higher education. He then went to Sudhrai Thakur Para of Gabardi and heard local issues before having lunch at the residence of Haratosh Debbarma.
