CM inaugurated 7th National Ayurveda Day programme

Ayurveda is one of the oldest medical fields in the country. The Ayurvedic treatment system of India is still renowned across the world and related medical service should be extended to the beneficiaries of society.

Awareness should be raised about Ayurveda medical services among people.

The basic principles of Ayurveda should be promoted in the medical system, which only will increase the conference of people in Ayurveda medical services.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the seventh National Ayurveda Day at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan on Sunday.

He said, there was a time when students from all over the world used to come to India to study. From the education sector to the medical sector, India was ahead in every field.

CM added that the present central government is giving special importance to Ayurveda.
He further said that the AYUSH Ministry was formed in 2014 after the formation of a new government at the Center led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister also said that the government is planning to establish an Ayurvedic college in the state in the future.
