The state government is working on specific plans to fulfill various basic needs of the people including health.

Initiatives have been taken to extend health services to village level in the state.
Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha said this while giving an ambulance to Aikatan Yuva Sanstha in Shantipara on Sunday.

CM has given the ambulance to Aikatan Yuva Sanstha from his MLA area development fund.

In the event, the Chief Minister said that the residents of Shantipara have been demanding for the Ambulance service for a long time.
He added that the ambulance will benefit the local people in providing emergency services. As the Shantipara area is densely populated, it was very necessary to have an ambulance service in case of emergency.

The Chief Minister asked the Aikatan Yuva Sanstha to be active so that the residents can get 24-hour ambulance services.
