In a significant boost for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), as many as 487 voters belonging to 125 families joined the party during a joining program organized by the Golaghati Mandal.Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha personally welcomed the new members and extended his greetings at the event.
