Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha had a fruitful meeting today in New Delhi with Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri regarding issues of Water Supply, Sewerage and Housing in urban areas of Tripura.
The Union Minister has agreed to look into the request for sanction of additional funds for Light House Project Agartala, providing 6000 Sewerage Connections from Barjala Sewerage Treatment, sanction of water supply schemes in 8 smaller towns under AMRUT 2.0 and sanction of additional 6523 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana Urban.
These additional sanctions from MoHUA will help in improving “Ease of Living” in urban areas of Tripura State.
