Congress candidate Sudip Roy Barman submitted his nomination papers for the Agartala Assembly constituency in the 2023 Tripura Assembly elections on Monday.
Sudip Roy Barman’s nomination submission rally was quite simple.
There was no huge procession and presence of party workers and supporters on this day.
No top left leader of the state was observed while he filed his nomination papers for the forthcoming assembly elections.
Speaking to the media, Sudip Roy Barman said that the people of the state have understood the overall situation and will give their correct verdict through EVM on February 16.
He added that there is no alliance between the Left and the Congress, whereas both parties are in the seat sharing agreement. Barman claimed that Congress is as strong as the Left.
He further added that according to the observations of party leaders and activists, Congress should contest at least 17 seats and therefore, Congress announced the list of candidates for 17 constituencies. Sudip Roy Barman said that Congress has 100 percent faith in the National Election Commission.
