Agartala, Nov 17: Opposition leader Jitendra Chowdhury on Sunday evening strongly reacted to the Bihar election results and the situation that followed.
He alleged that soon after the ruling party’s victory, its workers unleashed terror in various parts of the state.
Chowdhury claimed that these attacks have created panic among the common people. He further alleged that the violence was being carried out in a planned manner with the intention of weakening political opponents.
Terming the incidents “unacceptable in a democratic system,” the opposition leader urged the authorities to take immediate steps to restore peace and ensure safety for all.
